J. Andres Mayor, Esq. is Counsel at Day Pitney, LLP in Parsippany, New Jersey. He has experience in all facets of commercial litigation practice in state and federal court across various matters including general commercial disputes, real estate litigation, tort liability, insurance coverage, defense of claims against mortgage lenders, False Claims Act claims, and securities and shareholder litigation. Andres received his B.A. from Rutgers University and his J.D. from Rutgers School of Law-Newark.
During law school, Andres served as Articles Editor for the Rutgers Law Review. Prior to joining Day Pitney, Andres served as a law clerk to the Hon. Roberto A. Rivera-Soto, Associate Justice (Retired) of the New Jersey Supreme Court. Andres is a member of the Hispanic National Bar Association and the New Jersey State Bar Association. Andres serves as the Chair of the HBA-NJ Scholarship Committee.
