Jaclyn Medina, Esq., is a Staff Attorney in the Adult Criminal Trial Section of The Office of the Public Defender for the State of New Jersey. Jaclyn also serves as an adjunct professor at Fairleigh Dickinson University, where she teaches undergraduate and graduate students as well as diplomats from various consulates and missions to the United Nations. Jaclyn received her B.A. from the Whitehead School of Diplomacy and International Relations at Seton Hall University and her J.D. from Rutgers Law School-Camden, where she earned the Chief Justice Richard J. Hughes Award for Excellence in Lawyering. During law school, Jaclyn served as President of Alianza for two consecutive years, as well as the Vice-President of Committees for the Hispanic National Bar Association Law Student Division. Prior to joining the Office of the Public Defender, Jaclyn served as a law clerk to the Hon. Lois Lipton of the Superior Court, Law Division. Prior to pursuing her legal education, Jaclyn worked with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR).
