June 11-12, 2010 at The Heldrich Hotel in New Brunswick, NJ The Asian Pacific American Lawyers Association of New Jersey (“APALA/NJ”) is pleased to host this year’s NAPABA Northeast Regional Conference, “Stand Up And Be Counted.” The 2010 federal census will be conducted later this year, and we believe this year’s census figures will reflect significant increases over the past decade in the Asian Pacific American population in the Northeast region and throughout the nation. As our communities grow, we believe that Asian Pacific American lawyers are uniquely situated to ensure that Asian Pacific Americans are fully and fairly represented in all aspects of government, our communities’ interests are given the due consideration we deserve, and we are collectively engaged in our broader civic communities
