Law School 101: Tips for Academic Success
Rutgers Law School, Newark- hosts the kick off to this year’s Mentorship Program’s Lecture Series. This program will feature a distinguished panel of academia, judges and attorneys who will provide insight into effective study skills, the art of networking, tips on productive job searches, and useful information on Bar preparation. 6:00 - 8:30 p.m.
Opening Reception: Meet your Mentee/Mentor immediately following panel discussion. 8:30 - 11:00 p.m.

Resume Workshop: Just in time for summer job searches, students will have the benefit of having esteemed members of the Bar, including hiring attorneys, critique and make suggestions on their resumes. The program will begin with a brief introduction on tips for writing a great resume and cover letter. The program is open to all mentees at all three law schools but will be held at the Rutgers Newark Campus. Refreshments will be served.
Rutgers School of Law Camden: Full day symposium. Date to be determined.

Pathways to Legal Careers
Seton Hall Law School hosts the final program where attorneys from diverse sectors will present the realities of practicing in that arena. Panelists will include young associates, hiring partners, government attorneys, solo practitioners, judges and former law clerks. Ask the questions you have always been curious about, but never wanted to ask!
