Perla is an associate at Parker Ibrahim & Berg, LLP, a full service national law firm that represents an array of corporate clients, ranging from Fortune 500 companies, national banks, insurance companies and financial services companies. She focuses her practice on consumer financial services and commercial litigation.
Prior to joining PIB Law, Perla served as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Alberto Rivas, Superior Court of New Jersey, where she was responsible for drafting opinions and bench memoranda for Law, Chancery and Criminal Division cases related to contractual disputes, eminent domain issues, complex insurance claims, the Open Public Records Act and post-conviction relief. In addition to her clerkship experience, Perla previously worked for a Bergen County law firm where she focused on general litigation.
Perla is a graduate of Rutgers Law School- Newark and Ramapo College. While in law school, Perla was a senior editor on Rutgers Race and the Law Review and a member of the Association of Latin-American Law Students. She also served as a student clinical associate in the Community and Transactional Lawyering Clinic at Rutgers, where she provided legal services to New Jersey nonprofit corporations, charter schools, individual artists and/or inventors, and start-up for-profit businesses.
