Jonathan is an Assistant Prosecutor for Gloucester County, where he is currently assigned to the Grand Jury Unit - Special Litigation Section and concentrates his practice on bail reform/criminal justice reform matters, including initial appearance hearings for recently-charged defendants, detention hearings, as well as appeals in both superior and municipal courts. Jonathan was born in Manhasset, NY and raised in Princeton Junction, NJ, where he graduated from West Windsor-Plainsboro High School South in 2006. Jonathan was admitted to Drew University on a merit scholarship, where he graduated in 2010, cum laude, with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Spanish. As a law student at Rutgers School of Law-Camden, Jonathan was a member of the Student Bar Association, Alianza, and a student teacher for the Street Law Program. Upon graduation, in 2014, he was awarded the Dean’s Pro Bono Publico Award for Significant Service.

Jonathan is a member of the Rutgers School of Law-Camden Alumni Association, and the State Bar Association of New Jersey, where he is the Young Lawyers Division District Representative for Gloucester, Salem, and Cumberland Counties. Jonathan is also a New Lawyer Trustee for the Gloucester County Bar Association. In 2018, Jonathan helped establish the Drew University Legal Professionals Affinity Group, and is the inaugural Co-Chair. Jonathan regularly volunteers as a mentor to law students and young attorneys, and has served as a guest speaker on panels for the Rutgers Law School Minority Student Program.

Jonathan is admitted to practice in New Jersey, U.S. District Court of New Jersey, and Federal Immigration Court. Prior to joining the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office in March 2017, Jonathan was an associate attorney with Leschak & Associates, LLC in Freehold, NJ.
