Wendy Rubinstein is a partner in the Teaneck office of DeCotiis, FitzPatrick & Cole, LLP. As a member of the Municipal Law, Environmental Law and Green Practice groups, Ms. Rubinstein's practice crosses several disciplines, and includes substantial experience in environmental regulatory matters, providing general counsel to various public and private clients in areas including Municipal Land Use Law, Fair Housing Act, roadway construction project planning, real estate acquisitions, wetlands and open water fill permitting, industrial site transfers and cleanup, wastewater permitting, site remediation, historic preservation, tidelands, open space and compliance with the Open Public Records Act. An active member of the Florida Bar, Ms. Rubinstein also works closely with the DeCotiis Corporate Practice Group and the Trusts and Estate Practice Group providing counsel for Florida transactional matters, business succession planning as well as family limited partnerships and limited liability companies created in order to shield and manage family assets. Ms. Rubinstein currently serves as Borough Attorney for the Borough of Emerson, Special COAH Counsel for several municipalities and has served as Special Counsel to the Policy Council for a federally funded early childhood education program.
