United States Attorney's Office Summer Internship Opportunity: Application Deadline: December 16, 2016

The USAO-DNJ summer intern program provides law students with a great opportunity to learn and grow.  Each intern participating in this summer program receives diverse assignments, some to include research and writing, from various Assistant United States Attorneys ("AUSAs"). The students have ample opportunities to observe ongoing trials, participate in witness preparation and defendant proffer sessions, and interact with federal agents.  Interns also hear weekly lectures by seasoned practitioners on different aspects of civil and criminal practice.  At the conclusion of the summer, interns participate in a mock trial – a very popular feature of the program.  The program runs from approximately the last week of May for approximately eight weeks.

Additional information about the summer program and details on how to apply can be found at our website here:  https://www.justice.gov/usao-nj/employment-and-internships#Law_Student_interns.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Dara Govan at Dara.Govan@usdoj.gov or any of the other summer intern program coordinators, AUSAs Christopher Amore, Danielle Corcione and Rahul Agarwal.
