The Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey ("HBA-NJ") will hold its General Membership and Nominations Meeting on Wednesday, September 11, 2019, at Parker Ibrahim & Berg LLP, 270 Davidson Avenue, 5th Floor, Somerset, New Jersey 08873.  Dinner will be served at 6:00 p.m. and the meeting will start promptly at 6:30 p.m.  Registration is free and open to all current and active members.

In addition to discussing items of interest to the HBA-NJ, we will be accepting nominations for the following positions for the 2019-2020 Term: 

  • President-Elect
  • Northern Regional Vice President
  • Southern Regional Vice President
  • Treasurer
  • Membership Secretary
  • Recording Secretary
  • Region 4 Trustee (Passaic County)
  • Region 5 Trustee (Morris, Sussex & Warren Counties)
  • Region 6 Trustee (Union County)
  • Region 7 Trustee (Mercer County)
  • Region 10 Trustee (Monmouth and Ocean Counties)
  • Trustee-At-Large (2 open positions)
  • Trustee-At-Large (Young Lawyers Committee)

    In order to participate in the nomination process, you must be a paid member in good standing before the meeting is called to Order.  Nominations may be accepted only by persons in attendance at the meeting, unless a waiver from the President is obtained at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the meeting, in which case you must be available by phone to accept the nomination.  In order to vote in the election, you must be a paid Full Attorney Member in good standing as of September 30, 20189 If you are not a paid member and would like to be eligible to vote in the upcoming election, please visit
