The Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey (HBA‑NJ) is proud to bring the next installment of its statewide law student programming to Rutgers Law Camden! Following our successful January kickoff at Rutgers Law Newark, Part 2 of this series - “Leveraging Your Network for Success” - will focus on helping law students strengthen and activate their professional networks—during law school, throughout summer positions, and into the early stages of their legal careers.

About the Program

The “Leveraging Your Network for Success” will provide actionable strategies to help law students:

• Build meaningful, lasting professional connections
• Approach attorneys, alumni, and employers with confidence
• Use informational interviews, cold outreach, and follow‑ups effectively
• Identify opportunities through networking
• Make the most of summer roles
• Turn supervisors into mentors and long‑term advocates
• Maintain relationships during and after law school

Following the panel, attendees will participate in an interactive networking workshop, where HBA‑NJ attorneys and Rutgers Law alumni will help students practice and refine their networking skills in real time.
